General information
The aim of the laboratory is to develop the concept of a virtual learning environment and to implement the provisions of this concept in practice.
The main tasks of the laboratory are:
- conducting fundamental theoretical and applied research that meets the purpose of the laboratory’s activity;
- implementation (mainly on its own basis) of both educational programmes developed in the laboratory and other educational programmes;
- coverage of the results of its activity in the subject-specific literature, as well as during scientific and scientific-practical conferences, round tables, seminars, etc.
- conducting expert reviews of educational resources of virtual learning;
- research of new educationalThe main direction of the laboratory’s work is the implementation of research, educational and methodological, as well as project activities.
Research areas:
- Methods of teaching foreign languages in the context of modern information and communication technologies (work in a virtual learning environment, specifics of LMS Moodle application, generation of teaching materials, etc.);
- Corpus linguistics (complex analysis of artistic, journalistic, scientific text).
